Willie Hayse

Willie M. Hayse, 102, of Caneyville, passed away Monday, August 25th, 2014 at Grayson County Manor in Leitchfield. He was born on August 1st, 1912 in Grayson County, the son of the late John and Mattie Belle Hayse. Willie was a member of the Baptist faith.He is survived by his son, John Hayse and his wife, Judy, of Horse Branch; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. His sister, Ruby Ramsey of Leitchfield, also survives. Other than his parents, Willie is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Alice Hayse, his son, Joe Hayse and several brothers and sisters.Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Gerald Geary will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Tuesday after 5:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
