Walter "Tookie" Farris

Walter “Tookie” Farris, age 39 of Caneyville, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on September 27, 1983, in Leitchfield, the son of Walter and Judie Swift Farris.

Tookie was a huge University of Kentucky fan and enjoyed watching ballgames, tattooing, and working on his truck.

Aside from his parents, Tookie is survived by one sister, Christie Douglas; one brother, Raymond Smith; two nieces, Jessica Rigsby and Anna Lindsey; one nephew, Daniel Casey; two great-nieces; and three great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Martha Swift and Florence and Tim Farris.

A private service will be held for immediate family and close friends at a later date.
