Tommy Brown Sr

Tommy Brown Sr, 87, of Caneyville, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY. He was born on August 4, 1925 in Grayson County, the son of the late Clarence and Anna Woosley Brown. He was retired from International Harvester. Tommy attended Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Caneyville. He is survived by his son, Tommy Brown Jr and his wife, Jane of Caneyville, his granddaughter, Mendy Clemons and her husband Bill, three great grandsons, Nathan, Jordan, and Joshua Clemons, and one sister, Majorie Cassady of Louisville. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Harry Brown and his sister Kathleen Roberts.Funeral services will be Friday, November 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Steven Smith and Bro Mark Claypool will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Thursday after 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
