Sheliah Flener

Sheliah Gay Flener, 64, of Clarkson, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Heartford House in Owensboro. She was born on February 17, 1960, to the late Audley and Lillie Embry Flener.

She formerly worked as a dental assistant. Sheliah was beloved by many and known for her kind and loving nature, with a special fondness for her cherished dog, Boo. She was a member of the Clinton Street Church of Christ.

She leaves behind her daughter, Shawna Jones; six grandchildren, Brittany Logsdon (Dakota), Austin Elkins (Lauren), Lillian Jones, Makayla Jones, Joshawn Jones, and Elisha Jones; five great-grandchildren, Traven Logsdon, Zaylen Logsdon, Layla Logsdon, Aubrey Elkins, and Brayden Elkins; and her preacher, Mark Claypool.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her dear friend, John Overstreet.

Burial will take place at the Chapel Union Cemetery.

Family will have a private service at a later date.
