Randy Whitehead

Randy Neal Whitehead, Sr., age 62 of Clarkson, passed away Saturday, November 27th 2021 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born February 2nd 1959 in Pewee Valley, Kentucky, the son of Neal & Lavada Burgin Whitehead. Randy was a master carpenter building countless homes in Ft. Meyers, Fl., the Smokey Mountain's and all over Kentucky before his health declined. He was the type of person to give you the shirt off his back and he never met a stranger. Randy was a loving father, brother, uncle and very proud papaw. His smile and larger than life personality will forever live in our hearts. He is survived by his sons, Randy Whitehead, Jr. & Robbie Whitehead; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Haycraft (Bruce) & Gerri Lindsey; several nieces & nephews with one special nephew that was his sidekick, Jullian Lindsey; and his best friend for more than 30 years, Matt Decker. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday (December 5th) at the Caneyville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Lindsey Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to help with the funeral expenses.
