Patricia Denton

Patricia Denton, 64, of Caneyville, Kentucky, passed away on January 9, 2024. She was born on December 24, 1959, in Hammond, Indiana, to the late Edward Douglas and Evalene Doolin Nabours. Patricia was a loving and kind individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her companion, Ricky Tarrance, and her children, Shannon Seitzenger, Nicolle Denton, and Michael Denton. She was also a grandmother to Dylan Seitzenger, Max Seitzenger, and James Walkowiak. Patricia leaves behind her siblings, Anita Hawk and Terry Nabours, as well as her nieces, Amber Docimo, Autumn Barnes, Collette Ward, and nephew, Chad Nabours. Additionally, she is survived by eight great nieces and nephews.

Patricia had a fulfilling career as a teacher for 10 years at North Newton High School in Newton County, Indiana. She was passionate about educating and shaping young minds.

In her free time, Patricia enjoyed antique shopping, going to flea markets, sitting on her porch, riding motorcycles, and fishing. These hobbies brought her great joy and allowed her to relax and unwind.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024, until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024.  Bro. Jimmy Dockery will be officiating.  Burial will be in Bates Cemetery.
