LB Wilson, 95, of Neafus, KY, passed away Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green. He was born on Monday, December 27th, 1920 in Neafus, the son of the late Owen and Goldie Embry. He was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ and a WWII Army Combat Veteran. He was a self-employed truck driver but farming was his lifeaEUR(tm)s work. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Ray Wilson; one son, Bobby Wilson (Donna) of Morgantown; three daughters, Carolene Wilson of Louisville, Vera Honaker (Henry) and Shelia Wilson both of Bowling Green; one brother, Randall Wilson of Louisville and two sisters, Martine Cooper of Leitchfield and Charlene Embry of Louisville. Seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Other than his parents, LB is preceded in death by two brothers, Montell Wilson and Royce Wilson.Funeral services will be Tuesday September 13, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Steve Slaughter will be officiating. Burial will be in the Neafus Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
