Jerry Embry

Jerry Ray Embry, age 76 of Morgantown, passed away, Monday, February 14th 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born December 5th 1945 in Edmonson County, Kentucky, the son of Adrin & Alma Hack Embry. He was a lifelong farmer and member of the Wilson Home Church. He is survived by his wife, Paula Christine Willis Embry; his children, Catherine Irene Shepherd, Johnny Ray Embry (Kimberly), Brian Keith Embry (Theresa), James Kevin Embry (Melinda), & Monica Gayle Cochran; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; three brothers, Bobby Embry, Donnie Lee Embry, & James Henry Embry; and three sisters, Darla Ann Roof, Lavetta Gayle Embry, & Eutha Dean Kiper. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Earl Embry; two sisters, Janice Kay Embry & Juanetta Fay Embry; and one granddaughter, Lily Jean Embry. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday (February 18th 2022) at the Caneyville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Wilson Home Cemetery in Caneyville. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
