Jacob Wisdom

Jake Thomas "Wizzy" Wisdom, age 26 of Leitchfield, passed away Thursday, May 27th 2021 in Eastview, Kentucky. He was born March 10th 1995 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Wendy Copley-Davis & Daniel Davis. Jake was video game and music enthusiast, he was also a performer of the magical arts and an escape artist, who was the youngest person to be inducted into the Louisville Magic Association. Jake loved being with his family and friends who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his parents, Wendy Copley-Davis & Daniel Davis; two brothers, Jesse Wisdom & Andrew Davis; one sister, Kayleigh Davis; his grandparents, Catherine Spencer (Lou) & Archie Faircloth & step-grandmother, Therese; great-grandmother, Geraldine Embry; several, aunts, uncles, & many cousins; and many brothers in bond, including, Caleb, Jacob, & Tevin. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ben Copley. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday (May 31st 2021) at the Caneyville Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of contributions to help with the funeral expenses by donating here. Family and Friends who wish to honor and remember Jake in person at the visitation or funeral are required to wear a mask while in the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance. New CDC guidelines state that those who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask. Caneyville Memorial Chapel is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Wisdom.
