Hunter Bratcher

Hunter "Jordan" Bratcher, age 19 of Franklin, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in Franklin, in a car accident. He was born on June 22, 2003 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky the son of Matthew Sean and Emmylou Avila Bratcher.

Jordan was saved at Small's Grove Church in Caneyville at the age of 12. He had a gift for making people smile. His best friend was Chance Goostree, with whom he was inseparable. His brother Heath was not only his brother, but Heath lost his best friend in the accident. In his free time, Jordan enjoyed video games, Transformers and Marvel movies and he loved his dogs Tiger and Shiny. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Left to honor Jordan's memory, are his parents, Sean and Emmylou Bratcher; five brothers, Cory Alexander Bratcher, Jeffery Logan Bratcher, Michael Sean Bratcher, Ethan Bodway and Heath Jerold Bratcher; his paternal grandmother, Rita Bratcher; his maternal grandparents, Anisiso and Carina Bunales Avila; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roger Bratcher; and his great-grandparents, Troy and Virgie Bratcher and Bruce and Mary Todd.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Small's Grove Church with Bro. Scot Bratcher and Bro. Randall Deweese officiating. Burial will be in Cain Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday at Craften Funeral Home, 512 East Cedar Street, Franklin, KY 42134; on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Caneyville Memorial Chapel in Caneyville and again on Wednesday from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at Caneyville Memorial Chapel at which time we will move to Small's Grove Church for the funeral service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Caneyville Memorial Chapel, PO Box 62, Caneyville, KY 42721, to assist with final expenses.
