Garry Cummings

Mr. Garry Dale Cummings, 58, of Caneyville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Norton's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on August 24, 1963 to the late Glen and Lorena Mae (Mudd) Cummings. Garry was a long time resident of Clarksville, Indiana and attended Clarksville High School. He enjoyed his work as a diesel mechanic at All Star Trucking and Shaw Trucking. Garry had a personality and a smile that would light up a room. He always put others first and loved to joke and tease. His time was spent watching wrestling, NASCAR, hunting, fishing, and sitting on the porch watching the traffic go by. He loved his family and friends, especially his dog princess Buttercup. He is preceded in death by his mom, Lorena, his dad, Glen, stepdad, Raymond, and his brothers, David, Randy, & Glendel Cummings. His life will be cherished by his survivors: companion of 20 years, Patty Hostetter, sister, Lucricia Cummings, uncle June Mudd, stepdaughter, Allison Vanover (Robby), nephews, Bradley Cummings (Teresa), Ryan Cummings (Jessica), Adam Cummings (Melissa), Douglas Leach Jr. (Deidre), nieces, Misty Sharp (Ronnie) and Yvonne Lanahan, sisters-in-law, Valerie & Laura Cummings, grandchildren, McKenzie, Corey, Tess, & Jake, fifteen great nieces and nephews, and six great nieces & nephews and one due on March 9th. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to Caneyville Memorial Chapel, P.O.
