Faron Lindsey

Faron Lindsey, Sr., age 62 of Horse Branch, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. He was born August 16, 1959 in Leitchfield, Kentucky the son of the late Donald H. and Rhometta Sue (Lee) Lindsey. Faron was a veteran of the United States Army serving for 17 years. He was employed for 42 years at Otis Bryant & Son. Faron loved life and lived to the fullest, always smiling and he never met a stranger. He was humble, kind and had a big heart. He enjoyed mechanics, watching hummingbirds, going to yard sales and gardening. Left to honor Faron's memory are his children, Faron, Jr. (Tiffany), Jeremy (Adriannia), Jullian (Tasha) and Tori Lindsey, seven grandchildren, four siblings, Nena Kelp, Farrell Lindsey (Roberta), Don Ferlin Lindsey (Cathy) and Joannie Miller, and his companion, Susan Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nedra Henry. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Caneyville Memorial Chapel in Caneyville with Bro. Steve Mahurin officiating. Burial will be in the Lindsey Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
