Damon P. Bradbury, Jr. age 93 of Caneyville, passed away Thursday, February 25th 2021 at his residence. He was born August 12th 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of Damon P. Sr. & Ruby Gardiner Bradbury. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, a design draftsman for General Electric, and a member of the American Legion Post 81. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Pitonyak, her husband, John; five grandchildren, Jennifer Hornbostel (Emo), Charles Hornbostel, Danielle Gravelle, Beverly Pitonyak, & John Pitoynak; and a host of nieces and nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Jean Robinson Bradbury; one daughter, Deborah Calvin; two brothers, James & Robert Bradbury; and two sisters, Lila Mae Pipin & Mary Jo Welborn. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday March 3rd 2021 at the Caneyville Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. He will be laid to rest at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, March 4th 2021 at the Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery in Radcliff. All those who wish to honor and remember Mr. Bradbury at the visitation or funeral are required to wear a mask for the safety of all those in attendance.
