Bobby Young

Bobby Dean Young, age 63 of Caneyville, passed away Saturday, August 22nd 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 3rd 1956 in Ashland, Kentucky the son of Everett Young & Ula Vina Marie Burns Young. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who dedicated his life to his country and his family. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Young, his ten children, Chris Young, Noah Young, Anthony Parks, Wesley Parks (Kim), Dee Dee Cook, Tammy Foreman (Brandon), Cecil Parks (Tiffany), Mary Miller, Nicki Lampton (Bobby), & Rachel West, two brothers, Gene Young (Sandee) & Lloyd Young (Pam), one sister, Jackie Allen, and a host of grandchildren & great grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Parks, one brother, Ronnie Young, and one brother-in-law, Virgil Allen, Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 25th 2020 at the Caneyville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Richland Cemetery immediately following the funeral. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday (Aug 24) and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. All those who wish to honor and remember Bobby Young in person at the visitation or funeral service must wear a mask or other appropriate facial covering and practice physical distancing while inside the funeral home for the safety of all those in attendance.
