Linda Payton

Linda Lue Payton, age 74 of Caneyville, passed away Thursday, February 10th 2022 at her residence. She was born May 5th 1947 in Grayson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Gertrude Willoughby. She is survived by her two sons, Ryan Payton (April) & Robert Queen; one daughter, Sherry Queen; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband, Bryant Lee Payton; one daugther, Bobbie Lavonne; and her sister, Peggy Winchell. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 22nd 2022 at the Caneyville Memorial Chapel. She will be laid to rest in the McCanliss Cemetery in Caneyville. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of contributions to help with the funeral expenses. Caneyville Memorial Chapel is both honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Payton.
